Conwy Town Council was created in 1974 and covers the town of Conwy, Llandudno Junction and Deganwy.
There are 5 wards – Aberconwy, Castle, Marl, Pensarn and Deganwy – with 17 Councillors sitting on the Town Council, serving a population of around 14,000.
The Town Council meets every 2 weeks on a Monday evening to consider all sorts of matters affecting the community including planning applications. Members of the public are welcome to observe meetings.
Most importantly the Town Councillors are there to listen to residents.
